My oldest daughter went shopping over the weekend and returned with this headband. It’s cute. And also something she/we could have made.
I was looking for an excuse to not write so I decided to make my own jazzed up headband. I didn’t have any flowers and I wasn’t going to to buy any (I’m trying to use up my craft stash). I did have some wire butterflies I bought a couple years ago for a project/purpose I can no longer recall.
1. Elastic headband
2. Butterfly (I found this in the floral department of a craft store)
3. Pliers to cut the wire
First, I cut the wire down. I left it a little long because I hadn’t figured out how exactly I was going to attach the butterfly.
I decided the easiest was to connect the butterfly would be to wrap the wire connected to the butterfly around the headband.
I cut the excess wire.
The wire would only bend so much with my hand so I had to get another pair of pliers to tighten down the wire. I couldn’t find the blunt nose(?) pliers so I had to make do with needle nose ones.
